A practical guide
Put two versions next to each other.
- Add the original and the revised PDF.
- Move through the pages of both files.
- Read the extracted text of each file to find the changes.
Try this example
Open version 1 and version 2 of a 5-page contract. Page 3 shows two sentences in the text columns that differ, and you can mark them for review.
Before
- Original PDF
- Revised PDF
After
- Side-by-side pages
- Extracted text
Before you start: Each file is limited to 6 pages. You find the changes yourself; none are detected, and no OCR or combined file is made.
Inspect PDF metadataWhat you get
View two PDFs side by side and compare their extracted text. This does not automatically identify visual or semantic differences.
Limits and important details
Two PDFs, each up to 10 MiB and 6 pages; 4 MP rendered page limit and 100,000 extracted text characters per page. This is a local side-by-side review of pages and extracted text. It does not run OCR, download a combined result, or automatically detect visual or semantic differences.
Example
Choose two PDFs, each no larger than 10 MiB and six pages. Inspect corresponding page renderings and visible text side by side, and note any differences yourself. This is not automatic diffing and creates no converted output PDF.
