A practical guide
Trim the margins you do not want to see.
- Add the PDF and choose the pages to crop.
- Set how much to cut from each edge.
- Run the task and look at the cropped pages.
Try this example
A scan has a grey shadow along the left side of all 12 pages. Crop five percent from the left edge and the shadow is outside the visible page.
Before
- Page + margins
After
- Smaller visible area
Before you start: Cropping hides the cut area, but the content can remain in the file. It is not a way to remove private information.
Inspect the visible page areaWhat you get
Adjust the visible area of selected pages. Cropping does not securely remove hidden content.
