How we handle your dataRasterize PDF
Rasterize PDF pages into pictures and save the result as a new PDF. Text search and editing are lost in the copy.
Six pages contain selectable text. Review the settings and explicitly accept rasterization before running. Check the output pages visually: text will become images and will no longer be searchable.

A practical guide
Turn pages into flat images.
- Add a PDF and choose up to ten pages.
- Choose the resolution and accept the loss of searchable text.
- Run the task and review every page.
Try this example
A contract page uses an unusual font that is hard to copy. Rasterize pages 1-3 at 144 dpi and check that the image copy is still readable.
Before
- Searchable PDF
After
- Raster PDF copy
Before you start: Text becomes a picture and the size may grow. Comments and form fields are drawn in or removed, as you choose; layers and signed files are refused. This is not redaction or sanitization.
Compare the rendered copyWhat you get
Create a raster copy of selected pages. Text search, vector quality and editing are lost; file size can increase. Links stay clickable; comments and form fields are drawn into the images or removed. Optional layers and signed PDFs are refused. Not redaction or secure sanitization. Up to 10 pages, 10 MiB input, 4 MP per page, 24 MP total, 24 MiB output.
Limits and important details
10 MiB input, 200 source pages, 10 selected pages, 4 MP per page, 24 MP total, 24 MiB output. PNG page images at 72, 108 or 144 dpi. Optional layers and signed PDFs are refused; comments and form fields are drawn in or removed, and links stay clickable. Not lossless document conversion, accessibility preservation, secure redaction or guaranteed size reduction. Complex images/fonts may need more memory or fail rendering; review every output page.
Example
Choose pages and resolution, confirm the loss of text search, then create and inspect the image-only copy. Keep the original for accessible text, later editing and printing at higher quality. Metadata, bookmarks and attachments are not carried over. Confidential visible text remains in the page images.
