How we handle your data

PDF Info

Check PDF info: view the version, page sizes, fonts, images, encryption, form fields and bookmarks in a report. Nothing is changed.

Three pages: two A4 pages with text and one US Letter image-only page, plus one form field and two bookmarks. Check these values in the report.

A practical guide

See what a file contains.

  1. Add one PDF.
  2. Read the report that appears.
  3. Download the TXT report if you need to keep it.

Try this example

Before printing a 40-page brochure, open its info report to see the page sizes and whether fonts are embedded, then decide how to print it.

Before

  • report.pdf

After

  • TXT report: pages, sizes, text, fonts
Input and expected output for this task. Illustrative example.

Before you start: The report is not a security check. It does not list every attachment, script or hidden object in the file.

Inspect standard metadata
What you get

Read a PDF report: version, pages, page sizes, text layer per page, fonts, images, encryption, form fields, bookmarks, producer and creator. The PDF is not changed.

Limits and important details

Editing: 10 MiB, 200 pages, 2048 characters per field, 20 MiB output. Dates use UTC timestamps. XMP and other metadata are not synchronized or sanitized. Digital signatures may be invalidated. Inspection does not certify a document is safe or enumerate every attachment, script or hidden object. File names and report text remain local.

Example

Read the three-page sample: two A4 pages with text, one US Letter image page without text, one image, one form field and two bookmarks. Download the TXT report; the PDF is unchanged.
