Batch Fill PDF Forms

Fill PDF forms in a batch: one form and a CSV file give one filled copy for each row. The copies are saved together in a ZIP archive.

A one-field form (Reference) and records.csv with three rows. Enter Reference as the file name column: the ZIP should hold A-100.pdf, B-200.pdf and C-300.pdf.

A practical guide

Fill one form for many people.

  1. Add the PDF form and a CSV file whose column names match the field names.
  2. Check the field names and the first rows.
  3. Run the task and open the ZIP to check some of the copies.

Try this example

A course certificate has the fields name and date. A CSV with 30 rows gives 30 filled PDFs in the ZIP, one for each person on the list.

Before

  • form.pdf
  • records.csv, 3 rows

After

  • A-100.pdf
  • B-200.pdf
  • C-300.pdf
Input and expected output for this task. Illustrative example.

Before you start: One form of 10 MB and a CSV of 2 MB with up to 500 rows. Column names must match the fields exactly. Forms with XFA, scripts or signatures are not supported.

Number the filled set
