A practical guide

Set the order of the pages yourself.

  1. Add the PDF and open the page previews.
  2. Drag pages into place or type the new order of positions.
  3. Run the task and review the first and last pages.

Try this example

Scanned pages of a 6-page letter came out as 2, 1, 3, 4, 6, 5. Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and the saved copy reads in the right order.

What you get

Choose pages and arrange their output order using the page preview or a list of page numbers.

Limits and important details

Layout: 10 MiB, all source pages up to 200, 40 MiB output; split can produce 400 pages. No unusual page units. Links are kept; comments and form fields are imprinted or removed, as you choose; signed PDFs and XFA forms are refused. Document metadata/bookmarks are not preserved. Split and crop clip visibility, not securely remove hidden content. Marks are not redaction or editable comments: one per run on up to 500 pages, Latin, Greek, Cyrillic, Hebrew, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese or Korean text up to 300 characters. Forms: 10 MiB, 200 pages, 100 plain single-line text, checkbox, dropdown or radio fields; no XFA, signatures or scripts. Appearances may change. Not PDF sanitization.
